As reported by the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials are very happy with the way it has developed equipment division in recent months and the interest of the fans has increased considerably in recent times.
This was something that Triple H made as a personal project to improve the WWE and was planned for some months. With the breakdown of equipment and some people leaving the company, the WWE felt that this division should improve.
Besides that and reportedly WWE officials are very happy with the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow far. That's the main reason why they have been getting this big push.
If they keep up the good work, it may again be challenging for titles and even the win in the near future.
