¿What was the original ending that was to take place in the main event of Hell in a Cell?

As noted earlier, WWE officials and especially Vince McMahon, had many doubts about the final battle between Ryback and CM Punk at Hell in a Cell.

The original plan was to win the WWE Championship Ryback so clean in the center of the ring, would keep him at Survivor Series and then lost in Tables, Ladders & Chairs in a battle with many challengers, where they were necessary to make the three-count to own champion to win the title, and so would not end his unbeaten.

This was the plan on October 25, the Thursday before the pay-per-view. The next day, Vince changed his mind and concluded that of the two, Punk's streak was the most evil had seen and should give a big win to get right the WrestleMania season. Vince said that although it was mentioned on TV that was undefeated Ryback, this was not the focus of the storyline.

A source close to the WWE creative was very surprised that Vince decided on 26 October and the final end of opinion had changed so much. Note that McMahon is a big fran of Ryback.

Once they decided they would lose Ryback, were launched and discussed many ideas on how to make that happen. Finally it was decided that the referee Brad Maddox was involved, but had discussed interference from Big Show, Brock Lesnar, Mark Henry and Vince McMahon himself, among others.

Nevertheless, Ryback still get a great push.
