WWE.com now previous report in regard to emergency surgery and knee Punk is reporting Andrews now completed a knee scope Punk torn cartilage repair.
Not yet recovery timetable released, but the fact that Punk underwent a fairly routine, minimally invasive surgery bodes well for their ability to compete in the Royal Rumble at least.
With that said, the recovery time varies and it is possible that the WWE could be without Punk in TLC.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, it could take between one and two months to return to an active lifestyle after arthroscopic knee surgery, and Punk obviously fall into this category.
That makes it unlikely he will be ready for the FTA, but Royal Rumble is very much in the discussion.
That said, Punk is not yet ruled on either TLC.
More should come to light in the coming days, but the best course of action is for Punk's rest until after TLC and then re-evaluate from there.
