WWE has confirmed that Ryback vs. CM Punk for the WWE Championship continues in the plans, probably in an upcoming episode of RAW will be the match because Punk will defend at the Royal Rumble against The Rock.
Punk is expected to be ready for New Year's Eve on RAW's special program, which will be recorded a few days earlier in Washington, DC.
However, the WWE can not put Punk vs Ryback in this program because it is guaranteed that the show will have little rating.
Combat may take place in the RAW January 7, that night will be held the BCS championship game.
On January 14 in RAW is also possible, but may be too close to the Royal Rumble. Either way, the fight is scheduled to take place soon.
